Answers for all the puzzles, and by proxy; the achievements – start;again

Answers for all the puzzles, and by proxy; the achievements. Everything is individually spoiled so that you can try and do the puzzles yourself and blind as much as possible.

Intro

Here are some things to note before you get started:

  • The game recommends that you do not save in order to make different choices, like your typical otome game. This game is “completed” by getting the bad endings and messing up, and repeating the time lines. Consider your “flowchart” button to be your quick load, with the different events being your save slots.
  • I personally recommend playing this game blind. It was a gem, and it’s most fun piecing it together yourself. But I realise some of the puzzles are hard, or some people bought the game purely for the achievements. This is where this guide comes in handy.
  • Ensure “rollback” is enabled in the preferences window. You may have to redo this once you click begin. This is strongly advised because you may skip forward by default without catching the pa*scodes, causing you to have to repeat puzzles.
  • A final recommendation is keep coming to the “Main Route” (also known as the top/first route, and the one you begin with) whenever you succeed or fail a timeline – just to see how the scene changes, as this one is affected most by the other timelines.
  • You will immediately earn the achievement “Locked Out” for playing the initial “cutscene” before the game gives you the reigns to the timelines.

4th Timeline (1st load)

This timeline is the first place you need to go to begin making real progress with the game, albeit you are welcome to go anywhere first. It’s just that this is the first place you don’t come across an issue. This guide is laid out in chronological order of when you come across the puzzle.

  • Questions about Mikhail:Hint 1: You are not supposed to know these in the first run.Hint 2: Knowing them in the second run changes the dialogue slightly, but not the plot, so you don’t need to know them.

Hint 3: Mikhail tells you the answer to these in a conversation in a later scene.

1st Timeline/Main Route (3rd load)

This route cannot currently be completed, if you have been systematically following this guide. However, you need to visit it at least once in order to progress in the 2nd timeline.

Warning: If you cannot answer the “Who is missing?” question by yourself – it’s because you shouldn’t be doing this part yet, and your enjoyment of the game will be ruined by following this guide further. Go back, and play the 3rd and 4th Timelines first. The sections above can help if you struggle with them.

The First Hallway” has no puzzles.

When you reach the “Dining Room” scene with Mikhail, it is recommended that you now leave this timeline and begin the 2nd, as you are currently locked and cannot proceed past this point right now without playing the 2nd route. However, make sure you reach the Dining Room scene itself with a table in the background – just so the game registers that you completed “The First Hallway” on your Flowchart.

2nd Timeline (4th load)

This timeline should be faced after you have finished the 3rd and 4th timelines, and visited the main route at least once. This completes the 2nd route.
