I dont think it gets enough attention, but they really went hard on the cooking system and even included fun character traits.

Every recipe has base ingredients and then the characters have additional ingredients they can add based on their personality and tastes. For instance the sandwich recipe has several different versions. Collette makes a fruit sandwich, Lloyd’s is meat, Presea makes an egg sandwich, and Raine’s is literally just bread.

If you raise their star level the effect will change and they will have more/different additional ingredients. If you level up Raine’s sandwich she will eventually add lemon and meat. In fact if she ever adds an extra ingredient it’s usually lemon. Characters favorite and least favorite foods factor in. Lloyd prefers beef and his best dishes are meat heavy. Collette has more childish tastes and also skips the bell pepper when she can. On a cute note Lloyd and Kratos have similar palettes and often add the same ingredients to dishes. Sheena is a great cook and actually beats Genis on some recipes. Her famous curry includes Pineapple, just as they discuss in the Earth Temple.
