Guest sitting on Scenery – Guide – Planet Zoo

Easy, simple and creative Guide, work with basic game, and all DLC’s!

1. How to start

That’s a simple thing. All you need is to find a place where you wish your guests for sit.

Imagination is a limit.

For that example I will use this empty spot.

1.1. First you need to decide, if you wish to have your place to sit to be on a part of path, or outside of it. I always preferring outside – due to visual bugs with game engine, when “visitors” are not calculate as a individuals, but as a minions to a main one, and can just randomly orbiting around “main” family member. But of course, it is not always possible.

1.2.Choice a bench, or few. Best for that purpose is New World Bench 3 or New World Bench 4, but like I wrote before, you can go wild, it’s all about your imagination – and how much time you wish to spend for decorating.

1.3.Place the bench – that’s are base for that project.

2. Creativity kicks in!

2.1 Use your scenery/props to cover bench.

2.1.1 You can be super creative, just remember, more your add, it will be adding more pressure on your PC, especially if you wish to do it all over in your park.

2.1.2 Wise choice is to use some straight object with cubic shapes, like: Large planters putted upside-down.

Tip:

Easy way to do it fast and smooth is to:

a. When choosing an object, mark Angle Snap 45’ and Align To Surface.

b. Hover it to an bench leg [it should be rotated 90’ to vertical position – like on picture]

c. Press “X” and rotate it 2x, and you will have your object placed it upside-down.

Of course, in that way you can easily place ANY object to be easily align to your benches.

2.2 Mix and match!

2.2.1 Use whatever you wish, however you wish! Find odd suprising combinations of items that not have to be as they should be – in other words: Thinkoutside of the box, on in this case – from other perspective.

Below in example one planter is a seat that cover two benches, other one is planter/back support for full “bench experience”, and round planter is my monument for my sculpture!

2.2.2 Remember for a good in game look (interaction with guests), to try cover front and top of bench as minimum as it is possible! If you go to much, guests will “drown” in scenery, that’s not look to good.

2.2.3 You don’t have to “force” maximum of your decoration length to be covering benches, could be only a part, so only on part of it, your guest will sit. But it’s also an opportunity to make some “non straight” shapes of it! Personally I using that technique to often create like “alls” around small greenery squares, or surrounding large fountains – as you can see often in real life!

End enjoy your fancy, over the top, bench <3

3. Some words for the end

It’s my first guide, I hope it will be helpful to some. Especially, that it makes so amazing cool looking spots to sit in your dream park, above just basic benches.

Also English is not my first language, I try my best, but if you find any mistakes, please give me a notice, I will be more that grateful, and fixe it ASAP! <3
