How I Edit and Save Game Progress in Supermarket Simulator for Extra Cash and Unlocked Licenses
I’ll be honest – I’m a bit obsessed with Supermarket Simulator. Running my own virtual supermarket is super fun and satisfying! But sometimes I want to spice things up by customizing my save file. Before making any changes though, I always back up my file just in case.

Here’s what I do to locate and copy my save:
- I open File Explorer on my computer and navigate to C:\Users\[my username]\AppData\LocalLow\Nokta Games\Supermarket Simulator. The AppData folder is hidden by default, so I type “%AppData%” in the address bar to get there easily.
- Once in the folder, I find the SaveFile.es3 file. I right-click it and select Copy. Then I paste it somewhere safe like my Documents folder to have a backup ready.

How I Hack My Supermarket Simulator Save
Scoring More Moolah
To get crazy rich:
- I open the SaveFile.es3 file in Notepad.
- I do a search (CTRL+F) for the term “Money” to find my current cash.
- I change the money value to whatever I want!
Upgrading My Store
I can also use the save file to upgrade my supermarket and storage. Here’s how:
- Search for “CurrentStoreLevel” and change the number to upgrade my store level.
- Search for “StoreUpgradeLevel” and edit to expand my store size.
- Change “Storage” to “true” to enable warehouse storage.
Unlocking New Areas
To unlock all licenses and areas right away:
- Search for “UnlockedLicenses” in my save file.
- I replace the existing values with: 21,22,23,24…up to 47. This unlocks every license!
Once I’ve made my custom changes, I save the text file and launch my game. My hacked supermarket is now good to go! Let the shopping insanity begin!
