Go for maximum upgrade if you can.
How to do the setup
Start by getting some upgrades from asteroids. Farm until you have some Canons.
Next you want to have a line of shields in the back (right side of your HQ) – if you want, you can also use walls, but they are not really needed. All your canons should be in front (left). Now you can use some scrapper drones and/or enineer drones as support. (place them top or bottom of your HQ).
Last but not least, get HQ Shield.
How to play
PRESS A. (or whatever you use for steering left)
The last BOSS will always be up your butt.
If you have trouble this way – try to change it up
If you use shields and canons you can not really screw up. Even if some parts get destroyed, just farm them again. Easiest farming are the boxes. You can find them on the map (right click) – they show up as colored boxes (blue, grey, purple, orange).
