Once you spawn in, have looted the bags/cases and got an axe, you are ready to explore the area or settle down for the night. Due to random spawning areas on the map I wont say if this would be to your right or left. But you should see a snowy mountains. Begin your journey towards the mountain. Collect as many sticks and leaves as you can on the way. (to build campfires; otherwise, you will be hypothermic). It is also recommended that you bring a bow or arrow to hunt rabbits. You can make Rabbit Fur Boots. But, they are optional and you can still traverse the mountains with them. Once you reach the mountain, you should look around at the base. Depending on your starting point, the Plane might be on the ground or a small cliff. This is where the flare (flare, which is on the ground inside of the plane), and the pilot’s attire are located.

What the flare can do: It can be used to shoot cannibals and set them on fire, doing a lot more damage and quickly lighting dark areas.

How to find flares: Look for yellow containers on the ground. They’ll contain either 3 flares (or a bunch of Arrows).

How to make a crafted Bow: Combine 1 stick with 1 cloth and 1 string to make it

How to get rope: You can either craft it using 7 cloth, or you can search for it in cannibal camp and on the yacht

How to make Rabbit Fur Boots: Combine 3 rabbit fur with 2 ropes
