If you have items from a courier mission that is illegal that is Goods, Assets, or Data and you need to get rid of them, here’s how to do it!

Introduction

Say you got in a situation like I did. I got a mission to retrieve a Biochemical Agent, but I ran out of time! I ended up with a Prohibited item in my cargo and was fined 250,000 CR! I had no idea how to get rid of it, because there was no jettison option, but I figured it out! This guide is to help anyone in a similar problem.

How to:

1. Land on any planet. It is the best idea to do this away from settlements as you may be scanned.
2. Transfer the item from your ship to your suit if you haven’t already.
3. Disembark and walk to a suitable disposal spot.
4. Press Q, select backpack, select the item and drop it.
5. Get back in your ship and fly away!
