Leveling Guide – Gatherer Classes – Leafling Online

admin

WIP Text
This leveling guide was created to a*sist returning players as well as newer players in catching up with their gathering cla*ses.

Intro

This guide is a walking tour of sorts. There are spoilers in the resource information.

You may not want to play the game blindly.

It will be helpful to both new players and returning players who might feel lost after a year. To help me continue making more, please rate my guide.

Important Information

The Blessing Stat increases your EXP obtained from gathering. It should be a stat that you prioritize on your equipment when you go through the leveling phase. It is easy to get your main Blessing gear pieces. The third piece of Blessing gear can be obtained by reaching the maximum level in cla*ses.

  • At level 1, you will find your first source to blessing. You can find seashells by going side-questing with Ammerie at Dreamer’s Shore. She wants 15 which seems like a lot. But it’s worth it. You can collect seashells by killing Clawpy on the shore and Tortus off the coast. This Seashell Charm grants you +25% blessing and can be equipped at level 5. (Which gives you 25% extra EXP.
  • You can find your second source to blessing at the Black Market under the Underpa*s. The Cut-Throat Merchant will sell you a Heartfire Charm for 25,000 Almos.
  • Noting that these accessories may be enchanted, they could give additional stat bonuses. The easiest way to gather is to add +Max Mana prefix, and +Spell Haste Suffix.
  • Your Soul Charm is your third and final source for Blessing stats. This gives you a variable percentage of Blessing depending on the number of cla*ses you have at your level 50. I read in the official Discord that each max level cla*s gives you +25% more Blessing on Soul Charms up to a maximum amount of +500%. (This is the EXP cap. Although it is not possible to enchant Soul Charm, you can do so with its unique equipment slot.

Journeyman’s Respite in the Craftsman Hall allows you to enchant all your tools. The Enchanting Altar is just a few steps away. You can get a prefix and suffix enchant for any piece of gear that is not your Soul Charm. +Max Mana is required for the prefix and +Spell Haste for the suffix. (Miner’s skills indicate “% of max HP”, but this is the ore’s HP, not yours.

I have heard that gathering cla*ses do not gain EXP by quests, according to the official Discord.

Tools

In a tent located on Dreamer’s Shore you can obtain a level one starter tool set. Below is an example.

You can buy the rest of your tools in Journeyman’s Respite from the Tool Vendor, at varying alma price points.

Bandit’s Toll Bill Notes

This is a PvP Zone, however players rarely attack on site so you shouldn’t be concerned about someone getting up and killing your fish. To reach Bandit’s Toll’s “safe” fishing spot, don’t go in. Instead, follow the wall to its west (don’t climb up, instead, go around it). You will find the NPC Bandit Renaald. Although it’s not a great fishing spot, there are three bubble spots in the small pond.

What do I do with level 50?

Silverfin.

Location: Elderwood Grove Fishing.

Benefit: Restores 70% HP = Don’t spend money on healing salves, it will save you almas.

Chance: 60% per fishing spot

Amethyst Karp.

Location: Breezewalk Meadow Fishing & Bandit’s Tll Fishing.

Benefit: Restores 100% MP = Don’t buy mana salve anymore to save almas.

Chance: 100% per fishing spot

Crystal Ba*s

Location: Crystal Forest Fishing.

Benefit: Restores 40% of your HP = Less healing than Silverfin, yet still very useful.

Chance: 40% per fishing spot

The Golden Harper.

Bandit’s Toll Fishery.

Benefit: Restores 100 HP = Strongest consumables of the game

Chance: 0.1% chance at each fishing spot Extremely rare. It is not possible to reliably raise.

Woodcutting

How to chop

Saltwater Field

Oak Tree (Green).

Level 10-20

Miner’s Cove

Sunleaf Tree (Yellow).

Level 20-30

Seabreeze Ruins

Violetwood Tree, Purple

Level 30-40

Seabreeze Ruins

Ether Tree (Blue).

Level 40-50

Shadewood Tree (Gray).

What should you do at level 50 to get the best results?

Manaweave Tree – Rainbow

Mining

 How to mine

Level 1-10

Saltwater Field

Copper Ore (Brownish)

New Skills

Comments: You could either mine in the cave itself or at the spot high up. The cave is my favorite because of its large ore nodes. These nodes give me more EXP, but also more HP.

Level 10-20

Saltwater Field or Miner’s Cove

Iron Ore (Gray)

Lvl 15 & Lvl 20 WIP – New Skills

Comments: You can mine at Saltwater Field up until level 20, if you so desire. Miner’s Cove does contain a lot of iron-ore nodes.

Level 20-30

Miner’s Cove & Seabreeze Ruins

Elfgla*s Ore (Green)

New Skills Lvl 25, Lvl30 WIP

Comments: It is quite a time-consuming process to mine elfgla*s ore because there aren’t any great places to do so. You have two options: you can go all the way around Miner’s Cove, or you could relax at the Seabreeze Ruins mine.

Level 30-40

Seabreeze Ruins

Onyx Ore Dark Gray

New Skills Lvl35 WIP

Comments: Seabreeze is home of many onyx and ore nodes. The small field to the left has some, while the cave to its right has more.

Level 40-50

Seabreeze Ruins

Runestone Ore, (Blue)

New Skills for WIP

Comments: Seabreeze Cave has plenty runestone ore. This is my favorite spot.

What can I do at level 50 to mine?

Manacite Ore – Rainbow, Dragongla*s Ore – Red, Bloodstone Ore – Red
