Screenshots

Making a screenshot is easy and most people will know how. When in game just press F12 and Steam will create a screenshot of the current game state together with all UI elements.

You can easily share this in steam if you go to the “screenshots” section on your steam user profile and select “Upload Screenshot”..

Making a screenshot with UI hidden, however, involves a console command. In game, open the console and type in “screenshot()” then confirm by typing the “ENTER” key on your keyboard.

This will create a screenshot with hidden UI.

This screenshot will not be created in the same folder as the screenshots using F12 (in the console will appear a message telling you where the file is saved to) and it apparently cannot be uploaded to steam in the screenshot section. However, you can upload it in the artworks section just fine. Go to your steam user profile to “Artworks” and select “Upload Artwork”.

Videos

For this Windows 10 users can use the built in Game Video Recorder (DVR). Open the Game Bar by pressing the “Windows Key” and “Letter G” simultaneously.

Using the record options in the top left corner you can then record a gameplay video. Press “Windows Key”, “ALT” and “Letter R” simultaneously to start and stop the recording. You’ll find the recorded video file in your windows user folder.

You can upload this video to steam as well, but it’s a bit less straightforward, since you first have to upload it to youtube and connect your youtube account to steam. There’ll show up a guide how to do it if you go to your steam user profile and then to the “Videos” section.
