After the January 14, 2022 patch – [steamdb.info]  some players cannot use the Downloadable Weapons even when they are setted on the Equip menu. An alternative solution to use the Weapons of Madness DLC is to create a command line for the game, so that you can switch between the Skins just by pressing one key on your keyboard.

Requirement

Activate the Complete Collection Downloadable Content with these steps:

**You can skip this procedure if you have already done it from another guide.

1. On the game’s data Config folder under your Documents folder:
   %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Alice Madness Returns\AliceGame\Config
2. Open AliceEngine.ini file with your Notepad app;
3. Under [AliceGame.AliceGameEngine] find and edit the following lines:
   GIsSpecialPCEdition=FALSE

   to:

   GIsSpecialPCEdition=TRUE

Create a Command Line for your Key

1. Go to the Config folder on your game directory:
   %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Steam\steamapps\common\Alice Madness Returns\AliceGame\Config
2. Open DefaultInput.ini file with your Notepad app;
3. Under [Engine.PlayerInput] find or create an empty line and paste the following lines:

   +Bindings=(Name=”NumPadFour”,Command=”EnableAllDLCWeapons”)

   +Bindings=(Name=”NumPadFive”,Command=”DisableAllDLCWeapons”)

   Note: These lines will be setting your numpad key 4 to Enable and 5 to Disable the DLC, so that you can switch anytime during the gameplay, but they can be changed to any key of your preference since this one is not used by the game. To do that, just change “NumPadFour” and “NumPadFive” in the lines to a letter, number or symbol on your, keyboard keeping in quotes.
